Call for Applications – ISIF Asia 2014

Grant applications for 2014 by ISIF Asia are now open from 10 June to 9 August 2013.

The Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF) is a competitive grants program that provides seed funding for creative solutions to development needs in the Asia Pacific region in the area of information and communication technology (ICT). ISIF Asia is now accepting applications for project grants of up to AUD30 000 for projects that will be implemented within a 3–12‐month period. ISIF Asia provides financial and mentoring support for ICT research that addresses challenges in the following areas:

• Innovation on access provision
• Code for the common good
• Innovation on learning and localization
• Rights

The ISIF grants are made available through the support of IDRC, the Asia–Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), and the Internet Society. It is one of three grant programs that make up the SEEDS Alliance – the ISIF grants in Asia, the FIRE awards in Africa, and the Frida awards in Latin America.
