SiRC congratulates Pham Huu Ty on his promotion!

SiRC congratulates Pham Huu Ty, a principal investigator of the SIRCA I programme, has been promoted as the Head of Department for the International Cooperation and Science-Technology at Hue University for Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF), Vietnam, prior to which he was a lecturer at the Faculty of Land Use and Agricultural Environment at the University. He is is specializing in teaching and researching on soil erosion, landslide, land use planning, GIS and remote sensing. He has participated in many rural development projects in the Central Vietnam and is very keen to contribute to the protection of severe river landslide and the sustainable livelihoods for river-based relying communities.
