IT for Change: Call for Research Consultants in Sri Lanka and Malaysia for UNESCAP study on gender and e-government

IT for Change is working on a short-term research project in partnership with UNESCAP, on gender and e-government in the Asia-Pacific. This project, which started in January 2015, has focused on undertaking case studies of gender-responsive e-government initiatives in the areas of e-service delivery, ICT-enabled participation and public access, in 5 countries in the region – Australia, Fiji, India, Philippines and South Korea.

As part of the final phase of the project, UNESCAP is seeking to extend the case study research to 2 more countries, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. The time frame for the assignment is December 2015 – February 2016. UNESCAP is looking for research consultants based in these countries with expertise in gender and ICTs/ e-government, who can come on board by the 1st week of December.
