A Team came together to build an App so you never miss out on Tracking your Child’s Health

SIRCA II Principal Investigator, Rajesh Kumar Chandwani (India) came together with his collaborator, Neha Kumar and created a new app called Babysteps. Being a pediatrician, Rajesh knew the challenges faced in the field, as many pediatricians cannot give more than seven minutes of their time to one child on an average. This time is not sufficient to detect any developmental defects in the child. As such, this app bridges the gap and allows parents to keep track of the child’s medical milestones such as first steps, first words etc. The app started developing in 2014 and is expected to appear in the market by 2016; the team is currently working on giving final shape to the mobile app and looking at the business feasibility of the idea.
