Dr. Heather E. Hudson is a Professor of Communications Technology Management and Policy in the School of Business and Management, and founding Director of the Telecommunications Management and Policy Program at the University of San Francisco. Her research focuses on applications of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for socio-economic development and policies to increase their affordability for developing countries. Other areas of interest include telemedicine and distance education. Dr. Hudson’s expertise lies in international communications policy planning and communication project evaluation in rural areas. She also extends her consulting services for the private sector, government agencies, and international organizations. She has published various books – her latest authorship is From Rural Village to Global Village. |
