Daniel Riha (Dr.)

Dr. Riha is an Assistant Professor at the Creative Arts Module, Institute of Learning at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. His research mainly focuses on new media, virtual worlds and serious videogames. Dr. Riha’s other areas of interest include multimedia, hypermedia, human-computer interaction, humanities computing, computer and society, and cultural history. He was the pioneer of the New Media Studies discipline at the university he is currently residing at and is currently the Cyber Hub Research Leader at Oxford, United Kingdom. His recent project on 3-D Virtual Library for the University of Constance, Germany emerged as the winning piece in the Kunst am Bau (Art on Construction) at the International Net-Art Competition.
