Dr. Molina is a professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh, UK and is the Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Italy. Alfonso’s research interest centres on theories of innovation and technology management and strategy, with a special focus on his sociotechnical constituencies approach, applied to understanding the strategic development of information and communication technologies and processes of industrial cluster-building. Prof.. Molina constructed the original strategy for the Global Cities Dialogue, including the Helsinki Declaration now signed by over 180 cities in the world. Currently the Chairman of the international jury of Rome’s Global Junior Challenge, he is transforming his academic theorisation into practical application tools for the development of digital inclusion and social innovation.
