Margaret Tan (Dr.)

Dr Margaret Tan is an Associate Professor at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information and Deputy Director at the Singapore Internet Research Centre at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She is an initiator of various research projects in Internet and infrastructure adoption and implementation in Singapore and various parts of the world. Dr. Tan’s current research focuses on understanding organisational impact on the strategic deployment of Internet technologies, particularly on electronic security, eGovernance, data protection and privacy policies, and the implications of interactive media and the digital societies.
