ICT and Food Scurity in Côte d’Ivoire: Case of Mobile Phone on Food Products Distribution from Village to City

Kabran Aristide Djane is an Ivorian, a researcher (PhD Student)at the Anthropology Department. His PhD thesis is in pending. His research focused on population and environment. He has also presented papers on ICT and Environmental Education. During his career, he has already conducted two studies funded by African research organizations namely ERNWACA and CODESRIA. Today, his research focuses more on multilevel analysis in decision making.

 

Abstract This research presents the link between mobile phone and food product distribution from village to city based on the case study of rural women producers of food products in Ivory Coast. So, a qualitative comparative methodology is adopted. Results indicate impact of mobile phone on food distribution and women revenues.
